ABDo workshop
On 18 March 2026 from 09:00 to 11:00Workshop for researchers, engineers, technicians, and IT managers from partner laboratories
Context
Our three laboratories (IINS, IMN, and BIC) have recently acquired a shared storage server (three ME5 units, each with 1.2 PB of capacity), dedicated to the intermediate storage of research data. This workshop aims to support teams in optimizing the use of this infrastructure, in connection with the challenges of hot storage (user workstations) and cold storage (archives).
Objectives
- Understand best practices in research data management, with a focus on developing a Data Management Plan (DMP) per unit and per project.
- Learn about the data retention rules recommended by our governing bodies and GDPR.
- Explore the ArchiFiltre tool (CNRS) to facilitate data sorting and archiving.
